There is this girl I like, and we’ve been on what most people would call "dates," but I’m not sure she sees them that way.
The first time I treated her out to lunch, she made me assure her that it was "as friends." Interestingly, lunch lasted the whole day since she wanted to keep talking, so we went to a cafe afterward.
Just the other day, I called her on a whim, and I treated her out to dinner at a sit-down restaurant.
Both instances I was alone with her.
I’ve gotten the feeling that she’s the type of girl who runs away from problems, so I did not want to push the matter (also, I am a coward).
I’ve also given her plush dolls I’ve made, and she did seem delighted by those, remarking how she’s found new uses for them every time I see her (pillow, sleeping companion, lumbar support…).
When I picked her up for dinner the other day, she did say that I was "handsome." Later, at the restaurant, she told me she wanted to go through my closet and thought it’d be fun to "dress me up."
But she also tells me of how she hangs out with other guys (just that she does; she’s never gone into any real detail).
We’ll also be attending a mutual friend’s wedding together (whether I pick her up or we meet there is to be determined). Point is, I will have continued contact with her on a regular basis.
I just can’t read this girl (not that I was good at reading people in the first place).

I gave this girl I like a plush doll I made as a Christmas present.
Every time we meet (once a week at church as we pass by each other) she talks about a new use she’s found for the thing (pillow, sleeping companion, lumbar support at school).
What does this mean? Or am I reading too much into this?
Also, I gave her another little doll thingy I made as a inside reference to something small she shared over a lunch we had together ("as friends"). She received the gift putting it up to her cheek, tilting her head, and smiling.

I gave this girl I like a plush doll I made as a Christmas present (she hit me with it and called me "awkward" after a moment of silence as I couldn’t think of another topic of conversation).
Every time we meet (once a week at church as we pass by each other) she talks about a new use she’s found for the thing (pillow, sleeping companion, lumbar support at school).
What does this mean? Or am I reading too much into this?
Also, I gave her another little stuffed animal I made as a inside reference to something small she shared over a lunch we had together (a lunch she agreed to participate only "as friends"). She received the gift putting it up to her cheek, tilting her head, and smiling.
Recently, she sent me a picture message of the stuffed animal, and we exchanged insubstantial comments regarding it.
I honestly don’t know how to read this… whether she’s flirting with me or just being really friendly with me… or patronizing me.
I am very much distressed by the fact that she only agreed to let me treat her to lunch if we went "as friends." The lunch, however, lasted for a few hours, and she wanted to keep talking over coffee.
She did agree to come with me to an upcoming church event.

Hi. I’m (only) eighteen years of age and I seem to have developed a back problem.
The many different sensations are mostly located in the lower-right side of my back. It has now moved into the right side of my hip and a little bit in my stomach. I can do pretty much anything I want physically (including lifting things) and nothing seems to irritate it. Well, actually the only thing that ever seems to cause it pain is when I get in a low-to-the-ground car with low seats (must be the way I bend). It pinches a bit when I do that. Also, there is some tightness (after I stretch my entire right side) but no restriction of movement, just pain and other sensations.
I’ve been experiencing this for well over six months. The pain is pretty erratic and has it’s good days and bad days. Two days ago it was the most painful it had ever been, and the next day it seemed like it was gone (I think this is due to an awkward stretch I did in an attempt to decompress the spine, I laid down on my left side and let my legs hang off the side of the bed, which pulled my upper body a bit and relieved some pain and stretched it wonderfully, it helps a lot, but it’s definitely still there, just feels weird ), however now it’s coming back.
Sometimes it pinches, sometimes it aches, and more recently it.. kinda feels like my muscles are burning. Oh, I weigh 85 lbs (very light I know, I do eat a lot). So it couldn’t be because of weight. I’m not exactly athletic, but I walk all the time and I don’t look or feel in bad shape. My posture isn’t bad either. I’ve had a pillow behind my back for lumbar support for several months, so you’d think it’d improve by now.
I’d go to a chiropractor, but I don’t have the money to afford one + no insurance + broke parents. In time we’ll be able to collect enough but that might be awhile. Any ideas on what this might be?
(sorry for the long post and lack of structure, writing this on no sleep)

I have been having leg, groin, hip & lower back pain for 6 months now. I had an MRI on Tuesday and these are the results. I am in significant pain all day, every day. I did a 12 day course of prednisone, which ended up giving me oral thrush. I take Naproxen daily as well as Vicodin for the pain (which only makes it semi-tolorable.) If anyone has been in the same situation, what would my next step be from here? I am scheduled to start physical therapy next week and my mom suggested I get a referral for an appointment with a Neurosurgeon to get an epidural. Also, I would greatly appreciate some suggestions on how to deal with the lower back/ hip pain at work. I already have a pillow in my chair for support as well as a chair to prop my leg on.
Thank you!
Findings:
There are five lumbar vertebral segments. The proximal three lumbar and distal three thoracic discs and vertebral segments are normal in appearance. Mild degenerative changes of the L4-L5 and L5-S1 discs are noted with circumferential diffuse bulges of the annuli with small superimposed central non-extruded disc herniations. There is no disc space narrowing and no root sleeve effacement or central or foraminal stenosis at the L4-L5 or L5-S1 levels and no degenerative facet changes, spondylolisthesis is noted. No intradural, retroperitoneal, or paraspinal soft tissue abnormalities of significance is noted.
Impression:
Mild degenerative changes of the L4-L5 and L5-S1 discs with small superimposed central on-extruded disc herniations are noted without root sleeve effacement of spinal stenosis. The remainder of the examination is normal in appearance.
