Lumbar support for chair?

I’m looking for a sturdy, high quality lumbar support to that I can add to a desk chair. I don’t want something cheap and flimsy which it seems like most of them are.

Any recommendations? Preferably one that can be bought locally.

I recently just bought a 2005 Cadillac CTS and the seat is killing me!!! I’m used to driving small pick up trucks with regular cloth and padded seating.This car has the leather seats and it feels like it has no padding or lumbar support at all! I’ve contacted Cadillac but they can’t do anything about the problem WHICH SUCKS…If anybody has any ideas please share…i really like the car and it would be a shame if i had o trade it in just for that issue.

I have 2001 GTI VR6. I have had ten recalls and TONS of problems with this car..several of them were expensive to fix. I am told, however, that since 2004, VW has been working very hard on the reliability of their cars, even the GTI. Is this true? Are they more reliable now? The new GTI is a 4 cyl turbo (no more VR6s in the US.) I test drove it today. Man, SWEET ride. Comfy bucket seats w/ lumbar support, smooth turbo, very little road noise. It rides like a dream…and it has some guts, baby. I just dont want another GTI that’s gonna give me alotta problems. Anybody know anything more specific, please let me know.

Normally I get a side ache below my right bottom rib, above my hip, after driving in a car for long periods of time. Now I am starting to get them at work after sitting at my desk. My stomache is not full, nor is it empty, and I have lumbar support to help my back. Any ideas?

im finding that no matter how long or short the drive it hurts. i get a dull ache in the upper quad and a numbing in the front of my ankle. My back doesnt hurt until i begin walking and then i feel like my ql or low back is out of balance. I tried a towel under my leg and some seat supports lumbar on and off but nothing is helping..can someone here help

Is the trunk alot smaller in the roadmaster? The roadmaster has 3 point lumbar support on the front seats and are heated like the fleetwood? and what is the weight of the roadmaster, and the size/legnth and width of it. Can the roadmaster come with a towing package? if so how much can it tow, how much cubic feet of space is in the interior of the roadmaster and how much is in the fleetwood brougham. are there any features that one car has that the other doesn’t? if so what are they? Is the wheel base size/legnth the same, and are the tires the same size. this question is for the 1993-1996 models. and is the 1991 and 1992 the same shape as the 1993-1996 models?

I have a 2003 Chevy Express Conversion Van. The passenger seat is stuck in a reclined position since my daughter played with it. I think she reclined it fully and then pushed on the back using her feet against the dashboard. All of the other electronic controls (lumbar support, tilt, raising and lowering the entire seat) work fine. I don’t care if the recline part doesn’t work, but I do need to get the back of the seat upright again. So, anyone have any ides? TIA

Ok for all you gear heads out there, i’m gonna step awar from the spiritual matters I usually talk about and ask about my car.

I have a 1998 Buick Century Custom, approx 150K miles. I bought the car used and mechanically sound, but the driver seat is a little brokedown. The seat has a well worn and lopsided butt space and seat back lumbar support is almose non existant.

I have tried a web search, and my best result was the JC Whittney catalog so far, but I don’t need a Jeep seat, or a racing seat, or a truck seat I need a seat for an automobile that is in fact a car seat not an seat for an infant in a car.

any help out there, besides pick a part?????
